How do my website appear in the first page of google search?
I want that my website appear in one of the first page when anybody type a word relation with the page

To get a #1 search you usually have to pay google adwords- which charges you for every hit that comes to your site and can get really pricey without actually delivering more biz. !

a) Here I am assuming that you have already submitted your site to search engines like Google and you have the right meta tags and keywords (very important to have the right keywords).
b) Site name is equally important to get the listing on first few pages of search results. For example if people are searching for ‘green shoes’ and your site is greenshoes.com, you stand a good chance of being listed higher.
c) If you have done a and b, then submit your site to social networking sites like stumbleupon or digg. These sites will provide you with viral marketing and also good links for anyone searching in google for similar content. Google page rank and search results heavily depends upon the quality of links coming back to your site.
c) You can also advertise your site through Google adwords or similar sites.
